Notes:
The stitch is made around the post of the stitch below so that the stitch being made sits at the back of the work.
Often combined with Front Post Crochet to create thick ridged fabric or ribbing patterns.

Tutorial (BP tr):

 1.  Wrap the yarn around the hook.
2.  The hook is going to be inserted, from the back of the crochet, between the stitches to the right of the stitch to be worked and will appear where indicated.
3.  Twist the work so that the crochet hook can be inserted to the place shown from behind the work.

4.  Then push back the post of the stitch so the the hook can return to the back work on the left side of the stitch.
5. Wrap the yarn around the hook.
6.  Carefully pull the yarn around the stitch so that the loop appears behind the work.

7.  Wrap the yarn around the hook and pull through the first 2 loops on the hook.
8.  Wrap the yarn around the hook again and pull through the remaining 2 loops on the hook.
9.  The back post treble (USA double) crochet stitch is now complete.
